The packed I downloaded does not have a readme file. Just a license.txt. no other text based files at all.

OK found it in the contrib folder. not sure why it would be there and not in the main folder. but hey, at least I have it now.

Well, because the phpbb group thinks everything in the mod should be done from the main xml file and a readme is not required and anything beyond their required files is a contribution and this is basically a phpbb mod, so I chose to follow the phpbb mod guidelines. Smile

Yes. Though the site is still being built. You can see some of the testing that I am doing at http://gruntville.com/gvlwp/forums

Was there any changes to the installation instructions to accomodate the phpb3.0.1? I have been trying for few days to get my phpbb3.0.1 to work with Gallery 2.3RC1. What version of Gallery do you have working with phpbb3.0.1? Curious if that is my issue is I am running too new of a version.

Any help is appreciated.

If needed, my site is: http://www.ourholychurch.com/forum

The integration should work with any phpbb3.0.x version and any gallery 2.1+ version with only the slightest of "find" instruction changes.

I have phpbb3.0.2 and gallery 2.3rc1 running fine. I made a few minor changes along the way, but don't recall anything that would be show stoppers.

I looked at your site. The forum->gallery link gives a file not found error and direct access to gallery gives an internal server error.

You need to get gallery installed and working in stand-alone mode before the integration can possibly work.

Just did a complete re-install of Gallery 2.2.4 and phpbb 3.0.1

Thought I had it working as I did see the gallery in the forum, when I logged out as webadmin, I now can't seem to log back into phpbb. It says login successful, but when it shows the posts I'm logged out.

What I was trying to do is get back the ACP to set the permissions for Gallery2 Admin, but can't get in.

I switched from Firefox to Safari and I was able to get back in (so must be a local cookie or something in Firefox that was preventing me access.

Now in Safari I set the permissions to allow Site Admin access in Gallery and I try to go to Site Admin to make a couple of configuraiton changes and I get this error message

Quote: › Safari can’t open the page “http://ourholychurch.com/forum/gallery2.php?g2_view=core.SiteAdmin&g2_return=%2Fforum%2Fgallery2.php%3Fg2_0%3D7bbeb7ebcf6d5d90e93a5437d29b4e04%26g2_GALLERYSID%3D00c3c6745c06834caac04605cce24e85&g2_returnName=album&g2_GALLERYSID=00c3c6745c06834caac04605cce24e85” because it can’t find the server “ourholychurch.com”.

Any ideas?

I'm unable to get into the Site Admin but I saw this statement in the mod

Quote: › d) In addition, you must make sure the Gallery cookie settings and the phpBB cookie settings are correct or you will get Security Violation errors from Gallery or you will be logged out any time you try to do something in Gallery.

Does anyone know how to fix the cookie's once its embeded? I am unable to find a way to get back into Gallery Site Admin to troubleshoot the cookie issue.

Any help is most appreciated... (it feels like I am sooo close).
