I had been keeping up three phpnuke sites over the past two years and even with chatserv patches, two of pass4sure HP0-J33 [pass4sure.org]mine were targeted for a hack job and got to point where host said, change script or lose the account. Well, ordinarily I'd loose my cool, but I too was tired of the constant need to patch phpnuke. With pass4sure 642-415 [pass4sure.org] as many sites and mods as I had, I had a part time job maintaining the sites without being able to contribute content.I finally took the plunge three weeks ago and converted a phpnuke 7.6 to Dragonfly (latest CPGnuke version). Woa, was I impressed.
pass4sure 642-566 [pass4sure.org]Phpnuke needs a number of mods, IMO to make it perform adequately, ie, googletap and caching. I want to be seen by the indexes and standard nuke script, even latest patched version still works a tad slow to my liking.Well, out of the box Dragonfly has pass4sure 000-974 [pass4sure.org]these features and so much more that would take me weeks of nights and/or weekends to add or modify in a phpnuke installation. |
