Hi there,

I have a problem administrating the gallery from within PHPNuke (7.1.0). The following links don't work:
[delete album] [move album] [reorder album] [rename album] [permissions]

Once inside the albums, the combo box with "admin options" don't do anything at all.

Inside de module gallery it is not possible to View the Source. You can click it, but nothing happens. Everywhere else in the Nuke site, there's no problem viewing the source.

When logged in as an admin on the Nuke side, these links do nothing. At all... no error messages, no popups, not even a refresh of the page.
When "Opened in a new window", the admin is presented with the appropriate forms, but not within the Nuke site, but above all the blocks. The main content area of Nuke shows:
Quote: › You are trying to access a restricted area.

We are Sorry but this section of our site is for Subscribed Users Only.

When the gallery is contacted directly (http://mysite/modules/gallery/), everything works fine, it even recognises you as admin.

<rant>
This is driving me nuts! the site is suposed to be in production by April the first. Argh.
</rant>

On a friendlier tone, all help and suggestions are more than welcomed.

PS: needless to say I did all the searching bits as good as I know how. Shocked

Do you have an active BLOCK for gallery on the left side of the nuke site?

Have you added any additional javascript to NUKE? Another Nuke-Hack that you have installed?

Is Gallery set as the Homepage?

No, no blocks created, no JavaScript additions, not in the Homepage. Plain out-of-the-box installation.

make a file called .htaccess and just make it with nothing in it using notepad or something, then upload it to the directory you want to have access to and you will be good to go.

There already is an .htaccess file with the MIME/Types directive... Does the AllowOverride directive need to be changed to something other than None?

Hi guys,

First, I want to introduce myself. First time poster here. I will be showing my face occasionally in the future. I have researched image galleries to the best of my abilities and everyone and everything seem to follow and support this image gallery for NUKE. I have been using PHPNuke on 3 different sites for about 3 years now. Just upgraded to Nuke 7.0 on one of them and downloaded gallery 1.4.x.

I have the same problem that is mentioned in this thread. I changed my theme and all of a sudden everything started working properly. I have invested alot of time into one of my customized themes and really don't want to change themes just to administer the gallery.

I have not specifically solved this problem, but I hope this bit of info helps in fixing this bug.

hmmm...the nuke demo site (http://phpnuke.nukedgallery.net) is currently running v1.4.4-cvs-b20 and phpNuke 7.0, and the "delete album", etc links on the main page work just fine, as do the dropdown options from the admin menu inside an album (though i do get a "Sorry, such file does not exist" message at the bottom, though functionality is not affected). I'm not getting any restricted area errors, either. i wonder if it's a theme issue (i'm using a vanilla theme that came stock w/ phpNuke.)

I tried several nuke-stock themes, all with the same issue. There is a work-around, of course, by accessing the gallery directly. But that is not the way we planned it.

And it is not a browser issue either, tried it on IE5.5 and 6.0 on XP and 98, and Mozilla and Konqeror on X.

Getting bald from scratching... Wink

i get the "sorry no such file exists" and functionality is DEFINETLY affected.... everything shows, no errors,i can create an album...but,once created no actions can be taken on it. even to delete it i have to manually remove it from the albums folder.

i have installed Gallery on a win2k server.
using:
windows 2000 server SP4
Apache Version Apache/2.0.49 (Win32) PHP/4.3.4
Gallery 1.4.2
http://local-internet.cc/modules/gallery

when i log into my site as admin, click on the gallery link in modules, I am greeted by Gallery as GOD ( admin user i presume ). I can add an album and it shows up in the main gallery page as you can see here:
http://66.103.142.34:8080/gallery-image-1.jpg

if i clk any if the links for editing, renameing..etc... i get this error:
http://66.103.142.34:8080/gallery-image-2.jpg

if i try to rename, or edit by entering text into these boxes.. i get this blank box reply and nothing happens:
http://66.103.142.34:8080/gallery-image-3.jpg

at this point i cannot even delete the album.

my phpinfo page is here
http://local-internet.cc/test.php

if u need any thing i will provide it. thnx in advance for any help.
