A good idea?
Seen there is a couple for gallery but NONE for phpNuke (maybe a easy port from postNuke?). A golden opportunity and a worthy MOD (maybe good for nukedgallery.net)
Just a thought.
Moderator edit: Corrected website name. Picky, but gotta be accurate |

yeah, i combed the forums over there for postcard mod stuff. unfortuantely, it's all for postnuke
if the code that is available was commented well enough, i could probably port the thing over to phpnuke, but so far, i haven't had any luck. i'm still scouring the web and various forums for possible solutions. i know that it can be done, i'm just trying to find a satisfactory way of doing it.
btw, welcome to moderator status _________________

The postcard mod from muggles works but it dumps you out of phpNuke and into regular gallery. I have looked at it, but can't figure it out myself what needs to be changed.
My current easy fix is to make some modifications to the files in html_wrap dir to make the stand alone pages look more like the nuke pages, with hot links back to the nuke gallery and nuke home page. I hope to work on this more this week, 6.8 (not sure when they started including them) has complete documentation on how to build a module, so I'll take a look.
What I don't understand is why it dumps you out in the first place. _________________ Deborah

Any more updates on Postcard mod??
We used this concept on a project using Imagefolio - was and is a big hit for the visitors. End's up being a draw to the site. |
