Lost adim in gallery.

I did the integration including the light box and everything worked fine.

Then I added some forms and got familiar with the permissions.

Now I don't have administrative access to the gallery.

I checked phpMyAdmin and activeAdminId is 2, as it should be.

When I checked the export result this is what I got.

0 group(s) processed for import to Gallery 2 from phpBB.

0 group(s) succeeded import to Gallery 2 from phpBB.

2 user(s) processed for import to Gallery 2 from phpBB.

2 user(s) already mapped to Gallery 2.

0 admin user(s) mapped to Gallery 2.

0 user(s) succeeded import to Gallery 2 from phpBB.

There are only two users, so I tried to un-synchronize to start again and I got this error.

1. There are some permissions issues with the 0.0.4 integration. I'm working on a new version, but haven't had time to finish it up yet. Most of the fixes are posted in this forum already.
2. The permissions system of phpBB3 is quite complex. You have to make sure you set the 'Can be administrator in Gallery 2' permission correctly for each role/group/user that you want to have access. Somewhere the permission has to be set to 'Yes' and the user cannot belong to a group or role where this permission is 'Never'.
3. I'll have to test the un-synchronize option and make sure something is not broken - Error (ERROR_MISSING_VALUE) is the key. Seems there is data missing somewhere.
4. You can do the same thing as un-synchronize by deleting all G2 users from the G2 admin panel, except the main admin and clearing the values from the g2_externalidmap table.
5. The forum to gallery link still works because it is simply a link and there is no mapping of anything for it to work.

When you say, "Most of the fixes are posted in this forum already. " are you refering to the Integration Bugs section?

I am going to start from scratch and I want to get it right this time, with all the fixes in place.

I tried repairing the first integration and the error messages just got crazier and crazier.

I have installed the gallery and phpbb on different databases. Does this make a difference? better or worse?

I had the exact same thing happen on the exact same user 53 (first new user after bots) so I deleted that user and things just got worse, now it fails on user 2 the admin.

They are scattered in various places in this forum, not the Integration Bugs thread. I have a new version just about ready. Just need to look into the un-synchronize issue and the blank memberlist page issue.

I would suggest not using the un-synchronize feature for the time being...

I just tested the un-synchronize feature and it worked just fine for me. You guys will have to give me more details on how to make it fail if there is a problem with it.

I would love to help, but I don't know what I did to screw things up. I reinstalled everything and I am replacing the few posts and pictures and so far the admin remains solid in both the forum and the gallery.

However, now I have another strange problem. I wanted to delete "You first category" and the other default content and it is not available. It is grayed out, not selectable, when I try to delete it. Is this normal? I am logging in as the founding admin.

To get around the problem I have just edited everything.

I'll have to try deleting the first category, I usually just rename it. Haven't had a problem with that. I'm working on a new release which will fix a lot of things with permissions and such...
