EMBED.PHP... where is this file?

I'm installing gallery2 for phpbb2 (current). I've looked at a number of topics in regard to issues with the path to embed.php, I'm trying to get past the config screen where the autodiscovery of the path occurs, but my problem is that there is no embed.php file, anywhere. Where is this file supposed to come from? I don't find it in the gallery2 folder. I don't find it in the integration pack zip... the error I get when I try to let it autodiscover is this:

Code: › URL derived from http://www.7inchtaint.com/gallery2/ is invalid

If I enter the path to Gallery2 folder, I get this:

Code: › Warning: g2helper_admin(/home/taint/Public_HTML/gallery2/) [function.g2helper-admin]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/taint/public_html/phpBB2/admin/g2helper_admin.inc on line 60

HELP?

apparently i need the regular release of gallery2 installed on my webserver already. this is just a bridge. you need to mention that in the instructions for people (like me)
