Long URL's.

Hi all ...
When using gallery as a module in PHP-Nuke, users get to see these ugly url's like:
http://www.nukedgallery.net/modules.php ... _album.php

This is not so good since my users are creating there own albums and using the url in there emails etc.
Is there a possibility to use some redirection so that a users gets redirected to his album when just typing http://www.mysite.com/myalbum in his browser?

all i can think of is using something like mod-rewrite...
