I just tried to install PHP-Nuke 7.6 with Gallery-1.5-RC1 Embedded. I run into a problem with the login to Gallery. Every time I try to open the Gallery I am logged out. I can login directly to Gallery by typing the path to it in my site, but it will not allow me to carry the login accross from PHP-Nuke. I have solved the problem by loading Gallery-1.4.4-pl6. Both PHP-Nuke 7.5 and 7.6 produce the same result. Has anyone else tried these together yet?

It's been noted on the Gallery-1.5-RC1 thread over at the home page. They acknowledged it, and plan to have it fixed in RC2.

One thing to keep in mind - the Forums at Gallery's home page have a nasty habit of deleting "old" posts when they have been answered. I had a string of posts on this topic up, but they all have been removed since the issue has been addressed in the next release. I posted (politely) about this, pointing out that a bunch of people after me had the same issue, and got snapped at for not reading previous material - which wasn't there any more.

I'll keep an ear to the ground there, and a pen to the paper here, if I see any updates. I check the CVS pretty much daily for new verisons. Wink

good eyes Smile

I don't have the time at work (and I haven't gotten internet at my new house yet) to go through the posts over there. So, anytime anyone sees something over there that you think might be useful to us over here, grab a copy and paste it here (noting the original author, of course).

It's answered, although obscurely - they give the solution, but not the symptom, so unless you know what's causing it, you don't know that's the fix... Rolling Eyes

The fix is to disable the Register_Globals check in the Config Wizard. This will let you have full Admin functionality in your Gallery inside Nuke.

GJSchaller, how does one do that manually on RC1? It is annoying they remove such posts from the official support thread. I'd love it if you could describe the fix here, so I coulddo it myself (rather than wait for RC2)...

Unfortunately, you can't. It was only added as a funciton in RC2. Rolling Eyes

You can get the daily releases, including RC2 pre-releases, at:
