Here are some rules and regulations about the forums here at NukedGallery.net. Read them. Understand them. Love them.
- SEARCH [nukedgallery.net] the forums before asking your question. Odds are it has already been answered in some form or fashion.
- This forum is for questions relating to the blocks available at NukedGallery.net only. Please do not ask technical questions about other blocks (questions about "Where'd you get block so-and-so" are ok, since they don't require me to have intimate technical knowledge about the block).
- See Rule #1.
- When posting a question, please answer the following:
Quote: › Give us your Gallery/webserver information to get a faster answer.
Get this information from the PHP diagnostic (in the configuration wizard).
Gallery URL (optional but very useful):
Gallery version:
Apache version:
PHP version (don't just say PHP 4, please):
Graphics Toolkit:
Operating system:
Web browser/version (if applicable):
The CONFIG lines from the top of your block file(s):
To make your life easy, we've even included this list in the "New Post" entry window. Just fill in the blanks. Failure to do so will result in us asking you to provide this information, and thus, a delay in getting your problem solved.
- See Rule #1.
- Ignorance is never bliss. Suspension and/or banning is a definite consequence of breaking any rules listed herein.
- The basic ground rules for discussions at NukedGallery are simple: be polite, use common sense, don't break the law (local or international) and don't post any message that even hints at advertising unless it is in the designated location. We don't censor messages based on the opinions expressed within those posts, but we will enforce the policies outlined on our site. Administrators, Moderators, and the Site Admin reserves the right to remove, modify or move posts at our discretion with or without explanation. If you have any questions, please post them on the board. However, any post that violates the rules will be moved to the "trash bin" only viewable by site staff.
- You are permitted to create only one account. Any other unauthorized accounts will be deleted.
- In addition to the rules posted here, members are required to read any individual forum rules, these will be posted at the top of the forums as sticky threads.
- We enforce a very strict policy regarding solicitation of our membership by participants except in those Forum sections where advertising is expressly permitted.
- Participants may not spam and/or flood the discussion areas. Flooding is regarded as posting useless information repeatedly on the forum and elsewhere on the site.
- Participants may not use the site for commercial gain.
- Participants may not use the discussion areas to direct others to any pages at their own commercial website, including informational pages unless they deal with a discussed issue.
- Participants may not use the discussion areas to direct others to any pages which they have a commercial interest in, these include commission or referral hyperlinks.
- Signatures must be setup in your profile and not manually added to your messages. Participants may not use a "signature" that violates these rules. Signatures must be kept to a maximum of six (6) lines. Signatures may not contain images larger than 90x500 pixels and no more than 20k in size.
- Our userbase is not a resource to be "mined" by individuals, groups, or businesses, for profit or not for profit. You will be given oppertunity to supply a "fake email" that will be displayed on the members list. You assume the risk of publically making your actual email visable to other members.
- Participants may not post any commission, referral or affliate links anywhere on the forum. These posts will be moved to the trash bin and viewable by site staff only.
- Participants may not bump threads unneccessarily. Bumping can refer to posting useless information, making corrections or updates in a new post, posting one-liners or any other action to delibrately keep a thread hot. Moderators will use their discretion depending on the nature of the post as to whether to take action or not.
- We take the "be polite" rule VERY seriously! We do not tolerate ANY rudeness on the forums. Any member who is intentionally unpleasant or disruptive will receive one warning (at our discretion), and if the member offends again the member will be temporarily banned without warning. An additonal violation will result in a permanent ban.
- Finally, any abuse towards our staff and/or management will result in immediate suspension of your account. Threats against other members will be taken seriously and will result in a permanent ban and cooperation with local authorities if the administration sees fit.
- In light of our policy of encouraging candid, open exchanges of views and the rapid distribution of information originating from many sources, we cannot determine the accuracy of information that may be uploaded to the site and posted in the discussion areas.
- Opinions, advice and all other information expressed by participants in discussions are those of the author. You rely on such information at your own risk. Participants are urged to seek professional advice for specific, individual situations and not rely solely on advice or opinions given in the discussions.
- And the final important rule is: Have Fun! You do not need to be an ass to have fun.
