I have phpNuke 6.7 installed and with it is a phpBB forum, for the forum i have uploaded three themes that are in the proper directory's, when in phpBB admin i installed and got message that they had installed succesfully, now when i change from subSilver theme to another theme it loads the format but the images for the themes are not showing in forum.
Have i not done something right or is this a common problem.
Thanks in advance for any help i am given

If you are saying that the WRONG images are showing - try clearing your cache. If NO images are showing then plz POST a link to your site _________________ "The only difference between me and a madman is that I'm not mad." |

ALL images are displayed for me. As a 'visitor' I am seeing the 'SubSilver' theme. Is that right? If I need to be registered, to allow theme change - plz create a 'test' account and post details here. _________________ "The only difference between me and a madman is that I'm not mad." |

I've had a look - but unfortunately the forums are sticking to SUBSILVER theme (which looks fine) no matter which theme I pick from NUKE - so I am unable to replicate the problem. Plz load the page that has the images errors, then 'VIEW SOURCE', copy it, and paste it here. _________________ "The only difference between me and a madman is that I'm not mad." |

the issue is that the default theme for phpBB w/ Nuke is subsilver. you can't just go to phpBB.com and download a new theme (it won't work when integrated into Nuke)...you have to go to NukeCops and search the theme archive there for themes that can be applied to Nuked installations of phpBB, and then your users will be able to successfully change the theme. _________________

Since 6.7 the themes are integrated. Users should not change the forum theme seperate from their Nuke theme.
They moved the forum themes from /modules/forums/templates/THEMENAME to /Themes/THEMENAME/forums
Make sure that when you are searching for themes for your nuke site that they are located within the new structure to get better compatibility. |
