I'm interest in knowing how do you insert those things above the news....the main website info stuff....WHere do you edit and how do you get them up there, above the news?

If you are talking about the "Welcome to NukedGallery.net" stuff, that's called a message. log into your PHPNuke admin panel and click "messages".

You mean all this including the picture on the right can be changed under messages?
Strangely, for my site, whatever i type in the message module will be enclosed in a block...I want something like your site where the stuff will not be enclosed in a box

ah, yes it is a message, but this theme was custom designed and the message do not have a box around them in the theme.
