Hi Everyone,
i have installed the mod for the gallery2 phpbb2 integration, but it wont work.
I have url-rewrite NOT installed OK
I have synced the users "at the first login" OK
I have set up the admin id properly (checked it with a cool look in the sql database)
But if i try to start with the link to the gallery2 i get this :
Active admin is not valid. Gallery 2 appears not to be integrated properly. Please run the user sychronization at least once.
Found this sometimes in the forum, but everyone crashed with that wrote after 2 pages "Now taking Coppermine" - thats not the way i will go.
I have Users in the Gallery2 and in the phpbb2.
I have logged in the admin (so the user can be copied)
If i try to play with the admin id (i got 3 admin users) i get a mass of errors, sometimes they wont exist (?), sometimes its a g2error and i get the known debug.
I tried to un-synchronisize the user data, but the page left blank and after several minutes i stopped the process at 0%. In my DB there are 25 Users, that cant take more than 5 mins to proceed.
EDIT: Now - after several times of trying to un-synchronisize the page told me :
deleteUser failed for 17. Here is the error message from G2:
Error (ERROR_MISSING_OBJECT) : Missing object for 1853
Where is the db entry hidden, so i can delete it myself? Found an post nearly the same to mine - but i cant find the table-entry to delete.

Sorry, I don't know what G2RC3 is. Is it G2.3RC2 or G2.2.x? If you are using G2.3 then I would be surprised if the phpbb2 integration works at all! There should be something to do when the externalidmap table is empty as that is where the integrated user info goes between the two apps. At the very least admins and the guest account should get mapped. ...Oh...delete the activeadminid value also from the config screen in the acp...then run the export again.
If you have a choice, I would suggest using phpbb3. I no longer develop the phpbb2 integration and it is quite far behind the phpbb3 integration work. Furthermore, G2.3 is expected to be final in a couple weeks and there will be a new integration version when that happens (G2.3 and phpBB3). The newer integration is quite a bit more advanced than both the current phpbb3 1.0.1 version and the phpbb2 0.5.12 version.
