I just wanted to publicly tell everyone that Jettyrat rocks. He has been helping me the past few days try to get the G2 integration working when we were running into all kinds of weird problems. He even sent me pre-modded files to make sure that I wasn't somehow screwing up the mod installation.
Through it all he was very helpful and professional. He added debugging code to modules to help track the problem and didn't laugh at me when I accidentally deleted my phpbb admin user via phpmyadmin .
And the best part is, the problem had nothing to do with his code, it was a memory issue. The server was configured with an 8MB limit in the memory that a single php script could use. Once I increased that it started working.
So thank you Jettyrat. May you always find that one spot on the jetty that blocks the wind and may you always catch "the big one".
I would post this on phpbb.com but I couldn't find a thread in the mod forums for this mod. If there is one, please point me to it. |

| Thanks Rich, in the end you figured it out on your own! Funny thing is my php.ini file is set to 8MB also and somehow works. I guess my setup is allowed to allocate more memory somehow because if I turn on debugging in phpbb, it reports some of the scripts using over 8MB. Anyway, one for the knowledge base... |

I may have figured it out int he end, but I would have never gotten to that point (knowing for sure that the integration was 100% correct) without your support.
Asd for the config, it may also be because we have the existing GruntvillE.com website running on the same server with the phpbb2 forums. Then throw in phpbb3, Gallery2, and Wordpress..... |
