Username changes in Nuke-Evo

A few users have been asking to change their usernames in the Nuke-Evo side of my site. I noticed today that the Gallery sees the old username.

I'm giving certain people different rights to different albums. Will the username need to be updated or can Gallery continue to use the old username w/o a problem?

If I need to update the username in the Gallery, what is the best way of going about it?
