User Registration - Error Occurred !

Have installed Gallery 2 and when trying create a user i.e. registration a page is displayed just saying an error has occurred. No other error messages. The new account is then NOT created. After the integration I reinstalled as a clean indepentant install.

Any ideas? Your help would be most appreciated.
