Problem With Ratings Module

The ratings module runs perfectly when i launch gallery2 as a standalone but when I launch gallery2 inside the phpBB2 forum it creates 5 big empty boxes where the rating stars should appear, these looks like they are java activated because when u run the mouse over one of the boxes it trys to activate:

javascript:rateItem(26,1,'gallery2.php?g2_view=rating.RatingCallback&g2_command=rate&g2_itemId=26&g2_rating=1')

Has anyone had a similar problem?

Heres the phpBB2 integration:

Just click on the Album and you can see 5 empty boxes appear.

Here the ratings module working ok when running as standalone:

i would make sure your linking is correct? and or that you got the .gif to transfer to the correct location

Now I get prompted for HTTP auth. Is there a way I can see what is going wrong?

i know this post is old, but is there any solution for this problem ?
I use a phpnuke-similar CMS and have the same problems like DustyBin.
Everyelse works fine.

Version: Gallery 2.2.5
