Order of recentAlbum in block-G2_ImageBlock

My ImageBlock and list of albums on my main Gallery page are out of sync.

I would like the order of recentAlbum to match the order of the albums in my gallery. What do I need to do? I've searched the sql database and text files in the g2data folder, but I can't see where the Block is determining the order of recentAlbum.

submit an RFE on the gallery project page. i don't think there is any sort order variable available to the imageblock code.
