How to delete all empty albums at the same time ?

I run Gallery 1.5 integrated into nuke and i get a lot of empty albums created by users who then either leave, never upload photos etc etc

I want some way of quickly and easily locating and deleting these EMPTY albums such as a code change somehow to delete all albums that dont contain a picture or something that could be cronned etc ???

currently, this isn't possible via gallery itself, but it's a good idea Smile

i'll let Tim_j (the last remaining G1 developer) know about this and see if he can code it into 1.6 Smile

so, a workaround is to delete the empty directories from your disk, which will have the same effect as removing the albums via gallery.

hmm problem is that i cant simply do a rmdir * in the albums folder as the empty albums do have files in them i.e.
albums dat files and photo dat files etc even though there are no photos in the gallery

any ideas as i have loads of these empty folders and its soooo time consuming going through pages and pages to remove them individually ?
