Well I think I must have tried everything to get the block-rnadom to work! My head hurts!
Heres the score:
Clean install phpNuke 6.5
Gallery just upgraded from 1.3.3 > 1.3.4
Followed all the instructions from http://www.nukedgallery.net/article13.html&mode=&order=0&thold=0 [nukedgallery.net]
Uploaded revised Gallery files
Check permissions and ownership
Running under unix/apache server on OSX (MAC)
I have telnet access
For the life of me - I can't get the random photo mod to work. Worked OK on nuke 6.0 with original MOD but on 6.5 NO - it's driving me crazy
I seemed to have knackered it completely now - can't get the block to appear at all on the right and breaks the site when set to the left.
Any help to get it working would be fantastic or even some directions to head towards.
Many thanks |

*** MOVED TO APPROPRIATE FORUM ***
you did not follow my directions. if you upgraded your gallery from 1.3.3 to the latest 1.3.4-cvs(at this time, -b35, i believe), you DO NOT have to revise the gallery files, besides the 2 changes in session.php.
what version of Apache? I don't support 2.x, only the most recent 1.x version. (same as Gallery) _________________

Hi Dari,
Sry I meant to say that I had followed your instructions using 1.3.3, then upgraded to 1.3.4, with the new gallery a clean install to new directory.
I am using apache 1.3.27 (Darwin OSX)
So for nuke 6.5 / gallery 1.3.4 - I only need to amend the session.php ?
I have tried that without success. Any other suggestions?
Many thanks
P.S. No cache file has been produced - but the files daily.txt and hourly.txt are there but empty. |

yep, just the session.php changes.
post the top couple of lines of your block-random.php and random-support.php files, as well as the URL of your website so that I can take a look. _________________
