Hi all,

I have installed and added photos to the gallery module within my nuke 6.7 development web site.

I was wondering if there are any hints/tips on moving the gallery to the production server? Do I just run the setup and then ftp up the ablums? Or do I need to upload the pics again in a seperate folder and re-upload them into gallery.

By the way Gallery ROCKS!!

Well Done!

Best Regards

Zanis

Yep - Simply move (ftp/ssh) your ALBUMS folder to the new server. Upload the GALLERY module, re-run the SETUP WIZARD, secure the install (sh ./secure.sh or chmod 0), ACTIVATE in nuke admin.php and away you go. Don't forget to change the CONFIG lines in the blocks to the new paths. Smile

Hello !

Thanks for the reply - I did the steps you stated. After the steps I activated the gallery module and did see the album however gallery told be that the album was created with an older version and that I needed to update the photos/ Fair enough even though its the same code base cos I used the same gallery zip ! I got a few errors about locked files (running on ISP who runs unix). I wonder to make it easy should I use the remote gallery control ? If I do does this mean I need to re-install the gallery module ?

Best Regards
