I'm not seeing to many posts about this which tells me I must be doing something stupid. I'm using PHPNuke 6.7 and have downloaded and copied Gallery 1.4, unzipped then copied to the modules directory, but when I try to run the config wizard I keep getting the 404 errors where it cannot find the file. I did CHMOD the directories and files and after reading a couple of posts I also deleted the .htaccess.php file. Still no luck! Any help would be greatly appreciated for the Noob

URLs are case sensitive. I guess you maybe using /modules/gallery/setup to access the SETUP WIZARD.

In you install it should be:
/modules/Gallery/setup - with a capital G

However I would suggest just changing the module to 'gallery' by using a lowercase 'g' - because that is the standard install. You can change the name of GALLERY from witihin admin.php, once you have installed it.

Also - as a 'Noob' (as you call youself Very Happy ) how did you get hold of the 1.4.1-cvs-b44 version of gallery? If you really are NEW to GALLERY maybe an idea to go for 1.4RC2 Smile

Thanks for the reply,

I will download the the 1.4RC2 and keep the lowercase. As for where did I get the version? When I was searching through the discussion boards searching for an answer I saw a link to the Gallery downloads. I assumed after reaching this page that I would try to install the latest version.

Here's the link:

Thanks
