Can't get Gallery 2 installed

Ok,

I followed the install file all the way through till "Install Gallery Core" after that it gives me an error.

can i leave the directory path as the default? /home/******/www/cgi-bin/g2data

yep, just do a reinstall, and when prompted, erase all the data in the db.

Bah!!! same error. I have all the menu items, when i click on the gallery2 link, it say: This module has not yet been configured.

then you didn't configure gallery from the phpnuke admin panel. please read the README that came with the integration package.

did you save the integration configuration?
did you import your users?
what are the exact errors you get when visiting the integrated G2?

im gonna have to start all over, i tried this months back and couldn't get it. so im sure i have bits and pieces configured. .....frustrating

OK,

got a fresh copy of everything. admin panel is different so i assume there was an update.

Everything is filled out except : URL path from document root to embedURI. What does this need to be.

If i don't fill this in and click update it says:

It's empty, it wont update. It gives me that error everytime i try to update the settings.
