Album ownership problems

So far everything has worked, except that all of the albums belong to "Gallery Administrator" instead of the users who created them. Is there any way to set these permissions correctly?

Any word yet, dari? Also, does it matter in which order I import users and import albums? In other words, if I do one first instead of the other, will it affect whether my albums and users sync up? Thanks,

re: the album ownership, i haven't had a chance to get onto IRC and discuss with them (while i'm at work, i can't go direct to IRC, as it's blocked, so i have to SSH to a friend's box and then IRC, but his box has been down for a week Sad

and he's nowhere to be found)

Does anyone have any pointers? I'd really appreciate it - I run a university site with 1,200 users and they really want their photo albums. Thanks,

just to clarify the situation for the devs on IRC:
you have a phpnuke integrated installation of G2. when new users visit and have albums created, the ownership of said album is the admin, not the user. correct?

It isn't new albums that are giving me trouble, it's imported albums, sorry. When I used the importing module, the albums came out on the other end as belonging to gallery admin.

have you imported your phpnuke users first, before importing your albums?

Yes. The users are successfully imported, but then when I import the albums, they belong to the admin instead of the users themselves. I can then change the ownership to the user manually, but I'd rather not have to do that for several hundred albums, and I want to make sure that newly created albums will have the correct permissions as well.

I would wager that the problem is that the album owners in G1 are set to be the numeric userid in the integrated gallery instead of the username, but I can't say for sure, since I haven't done such an integration.
