I just downloaded the gallery, and unziped it and uploaded it into its own folder. I started to run the configureation utility, but, I got really lost when it asked me to install ImageMagick or NETPBM. I downloaded ImageMagick, and Lets just say I am a basic web programer, and I got lost Sad So, Can someone explain to me how to get it installed, because my server is not running it. Or could someone be so kind to install it for me? Thank you so much. My server is running the latest PHP version 4.3.2.

if you don't run your own server, you'll have to get the host company to install it for you, unless they give you permissions to install applications.
what linux distribution?

Ok, What if I cannot get them to install it for me? I will try, but is there any other alternatives?

first, it depends on what distribution of linux. redhat and mandrake have some relatively simple packages created for these programs. gentoo and others have an autoinstall feature that you might be able to use.

worse comes to worse, you can download the sources for the programs (i recommend imagemagick, though YMMV), compile and install them yourself.

Try downloading the NetPBM binaries instead.

http://sourceforge.net/project/showfile ... up_id=7130

I found them very easy to install and use. Just d/l the LINUX versions and place inside your webspace Very Happy

hmmm...well, you might be able to create a netpbm directory inside the nuke root directory...as long as it doesn't require any special permissions.
