every time i come back to this site i have to log back in. it reminds me of postnuke and xoops. the odd thing is this site is powered by phpnuke. another thing is when i am logged on, i go down to grab a cup of coffee for 15 min. and it kicks me back into guest account. i'de like to post a few times a week but it makes someone not want to come back after they got the gallery working.

The site session cookie logs the user out - forcing you to log back in. This is so the UPDATED BLOCK can work (left). Maybe it would be an idea to move the block to the DEMO site with all the other MODs - but thats for Dari to decide.

I also find it annoying! Confused

hey, first post in this forum Smile

anyway, i switched it back to a 30 day cookie on this site.

not sure about the guest account issue you're talking about, maybe flushing your cookies from this site and logging back in will fix it.

no biggie, don't worry....it was starting to irritate me, having to log in every time i had to reply to a post from user. unfortunately, there is no surefire way of having a user log out and back in to the site. i suppose i could put a "refresh" button in the block, visible to all users so that they can click it to see the latest list....hmmm sounds like an idea for the next MOD Wink

this site is one giant help page and FAQ. the forums provide the FAQ (as do the links to external sites), the help pages (answers to user issues). the links in the "related sites" block provide the only other source of information that (i know of which) exists on the net for Gallery and PHPNuke integration.

In the meantime, can you load the MODed Block page load in an iframe within the block, with a refresh time that you specify?

i could, but iframes suck, esp. in a nuke page. postnuke users don't have this problem, since the admin can specify that the user has to log in every visit, or every X number of days...FB should make this an option in PHPNuke as well, and if he doesn't, i may just add it as a hack.
