I downloaded a forum theme

i read another thread with same problem but didnt quite understand. I downloaded a them for my forum, installed it and everything, but the pictures wont show, just a lil error sign in corner of where location of picture should be, but the style and everything shows. I do not understand how to change this? let alone fix it? please help me.

you can, at least everyone else can. dunno what your problem is. the only problem is that the pictures will not show up. you have to click on community link up at the top of site to view forums.

Forum module works now. You had it set to registered users only before.

You might want to look at your paths for your pics. Looks like they're in this form:

templates/Galaxian/images/header_1.jpg

PHPNuke uses this form:

modules/Forums/templates/subSilver/images/filename.jpg

If this is a theme for PHPBB which you state above, you do know that you're running PHPNuke and not PHPBB, right? If you try to install a phpbb theme, (and that's what Twisted galaxy offers) you're going to have to convert it. The PHPBB module is NOT true PHPBB, it's a port of the software.

yes, thanx, i know im using phpnuke, and i know its phpbb, i wanted a different the though, i will change the files around and get everything figured out hopefully, if i have more questions please stick around, oh ya, the guy who made that theme said it would still work for phpnuke, but to upload it in binary and set permission to 644. so thats what im currently trying

yes, you are correct. i re-did everything in binary, made no difference. still have no clue how to change paths, i guess i just wont have a forum b/c subsilver is so gay, i cant even see the words and shit in it. unless u want help, im with this forum

what version of nuke? the newer versions have a "forums" subdirectory within your phpnuke theme directory, ie: phpnuke/themes/<mythemename>/forums/

latest version i believe, 7.5 or 7.6

if you put the forum template in modules/Forums/templates/ make sure you install it via the phpBB admin panel.
