I have made a modification to the forum code so that links in posts will have the Slashdot [slashdot.org] look to them, with the root domain in square brackets after the link. If you notice any problems with this modification, please PM me.
Here are some examples:
Example 1 [nukedgallery.net]
Example 2 [via.com.tw]
Example 3 [nukedgallery.net]
Example 4 [cnn.com]
The next two links are examples of a new modification. The first link shows that links that are directly entered into the post text, without the use of the URL bbcode tags, will not show the domain after the link. The second example is an "anti-phishing" example. The text claims to point to one link, but the actual link will take you somewhere else.
