I've searched and came to the conclusion that you can have two installs of Gallery. However, I haven't found anyone who is doing multiple installs with Postnuke. I just find people doing standalone. I know that you have to have the folder pnCPG in your modules directory of PN in order to have Gallery integrated and working properly. What if I want a second install though? Could I rename the Gallery folder on my computer then upload it and use that or would I also have to make a duplicate of pnCPG? I tried doing just that, uploading a second install. And I when I set it up it was the exact same gallery as my first install. I'm not sure if this is because I also had the same .htaccess and config.php file or not.
Thanks for any help! |

| what is pnCPG? if it's Coppermine, that software is not supported on this site. we support only Menalto Gallery [menalto.com]. |

Okay, well I tried Coppermine first on my site thinking it was Menalto. After installing and looking at it I realized it wasn't the Gallery that I used a long time ago thus I got Menalto. pnCPG stands for Post Nuke Coppermine Picture Gallery I think, anyways I'm pretty sure it goes with Coppermine. I guess that folder doesn't have anything to do with Menalto? For some reason I thought it did.
I know this is a stupid question, but I'm pretty sure I'm using Menalto's Gallery and not Coppermine. My version is Gallery 1.4.4-pl3 and you can see it it here if you need to

Sorry about that, so if this is Menalto and not Coppermine. What could I be doing wrong with trying to get two installs into PN? Thanks. |

| just install it into two separate directories (ie "gallery_one" and "gallery_two") and then go through the normal gallery configuration for each (assuming separate album directories for each), and activation in the postnuke admin module. |

Thanks Dari!
Also, the reason why all the same pictures were in the second installation as I stated above is because I forgot to specify a different albums folder for the second installtion to go to (instead it was going off the first one) in the Gallery config. |
