Gallery is made to be fully compatible with many portal systems,
but this site is made only for support phpnuke (and similar mods of it) so why don't make a personal version of gallery removing all useless files to make all lighter to download & upload ?

there are no useless files in Gallery...unless you consider the locale files useless. all files are used for something, and even if you don't use a particular feature (watermarking, for instance), it's only one or two files that get deleted.
the files under the /gallery/classes/ directory are put there so that users do not have to hunt around for the required files for the various CMS systems. there are so many users out there who use one (or more) of those CMS's, that not including the required files would be an added step, and source of confusion for the user. |
