Random Image Block Help

Hi im trying to install the Random Image [Improved] block for my website and I am getting this error:

Warning: main(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/home/httpd/phpnuke.nukedgallery.net/htdocs/modules/gallery/random_support.php) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/immortal:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php:/tmp) in /home/immortal/public_html/blocks/block-RandomPhoto.php on line 31

Warning: main(/home/httpd/phpnuke.nukedgallery.net/htdocs/modules/gallery/random_support.php): failed to open stream: Operation not permitted in /home/immortal/public_html/blocks/block-RandomPhoto.php on line 31

Does anyone know what the problem could be?

yes, your host has implemented open_basedir restrictions, thus limiting functionality of some PHP scripts. but you also failed to read the directions and change your paths as stated in the readme.

also, you may want to try V2 of the block..look for the [TESTING] post in this forum.

sorry im really new at this...2 weeks ago i didn't even know what path meant.

i'm learning slowly but surely...thanx for your help i'll try that now.

I have the exact problem and I am using v2. does this mean if you get the open basedir restrictions that you can not use the blocks?
The funny thing is that it works and it does scroll the images nicely just that you get the warning message....which doesn't look good
