Hybrid Theme with a Nuked Gallery?

I'm trying to get the Hybrid theme working with my gallery and I'm having problems. It works fine in standalone mode, but when I view it integrated it doesn't work. It ignores the Hyrbid CSS, and when I click on an image the grey fullscreen pops-up, but it never loads the image.

I get a number of script errors including:
cookie_path is not defined
unterminated string literal
data_count is not defined
userAgentButton is null
data_count is not defined

Does Hybrid work with Gallery2?

BTW, I'm running:

Gallery version = 2.3 core 1.3.0
API = Core 7.54, Module 3.9, Theme 2.6, Embed 1.5
PHP version = 5.2.0 cgi
