Configuring settings: what's the problem with embed.php...

Hi,
I need help! I've tried to integrate Gallery2.2.2 to my forum (PHPBB 2.0.22) but it doesn't work... I wondered if it was due to an incompatibility, because I had this message when I left the "embed.php" value blank:

"Either your server does not support the automated verification of the Gallery 2 location or the supplied g2Uri points to a incompatible Gallery 2 version (older than 2.1)"

But then, after hours spent on this forum, I found that in some cases you have to indicate the path of the "embed.php" file to make the installation work.
My problem now, is that the different paths I tried do not work, and I've got this message instead of the previous one:

"Fatal error: Undefined class name 'galleryembed' in /mnt/165/sda/2/b/lescharrues/site/admin/g2helper_admin.inc on line 66"

this is what I've got on line 66:
$ret = GalleryEmbed::init($this->_init_array);

I think I've followed properly the integration_mods file, so I don't understand where my problem comes from.

Same issue here.

First I had the

"Either your server does not support the automated verification of the Gallery 2 location or the supplied g2Uri points to a incompatible Gallery 2 version (older than 2.1)" message, and then after typing in the absolute path to the embed.php I got this:-

"Fatal error: Undefined class name 'galleryembed' in /content/*****/*/*/****/web/forum/admin/g2helper_admin.inc on line 66"

I have checked over the mods but cannot find anything obviously wrong.

Same here. Wasted two days trying to figure it out...

"Warning: g2helper_admin::require_once(/aof/gallery2/embed.php) [function.g2helper-admin-require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in C:\wamp\www\aof\admin\g2helper_admin.inc on line 60"

I think something got messed up with "g2image" - if I get past that error, I get a window that the synchronization did not work and the links in there all point to a wrong directory (with "g2image/..." in there)

Exactly the same error for me. I'm completely lost. It appears that this is the one question no one can answer on the internet!!

P.S BigTom - I think the answer to your problem may be that you haven't entered the absolute path for embed.php.

I.E - rather than entering /gallery2/embed.php

Try

http://www.host.com/gallery2/embed.php

This integration is junk. it does not even work with a fresh installation of phpbb2 and gallery2. does anybody have it working at all???

Yeah, just leave the embed.php text box blank in the configuration page. The integration will fill that one in for you. Fixed all my problems! Hope it helps.
