Methods for upgrading phpBB?

I'm currently running phpBB 3.0 RC5 with the Gallery 2 integration from here, but an older version of the integration package that I had to make a lot of workarounds for it to work, so it ended up being really customized and things work for the most part, though there is some weirdness here and there.

I'd like to upgrade to the released phpBB 3.0 when this integration package is ready for it. What is the recommended way to upgrade because of this package? I was thinking to upgrade phpBB and then reapply the integration package since some of its files will get overwritten? Just a thought since I don't even remember at this point all I did. Smile

Yep, about the only way to upgrade from where you are is to upgrade phpBB and then re-apply the integration. There is no easy way to just upgrade the integration, especially since lots of changes have been made since the version you are likely running. Most issues you had are probably fixed unless you found some that weren't addressed at all.

Great, thanks. Any idea when the package will be ready for the released phpBB 3.0? From what I can see, the latest is for RC7.
