I have the mod installed successfully with RC 7 (thanks a lot!)

I'm curious whether I'll break it when I upgrade to phpbb 3.0.0, which was released today.

There were no changes at all to the integration with rc8. I haven't tried gold yet, but I suspect there will be little or no changes.

I'm working on some holes in the integration where changing admin roles/groups permissions are not carried over to gallery. After that I'll run through the integration with phpbb3 gold and probably have a new release shortly.

I have upgraded from RC8 to gold today. I used a patch, no problems.

Would it make a difference if I had Gold already installed and try to integrate VS having the integration done on RC7 or RC8 first, then upgrade to Gold?

The current mod package has not changed since rc7, so you can install it at any time. There have been several fixes to various parts of the current package though. They are all posted in this forum with the past few weeks.

I'll have a new package ready soon for gold that will have all the fixes in it...

I had Gold installed and attempted to integrate, but it doesn't seem to be working. It showed in ACP only, but no gallery buttons exist anywhere within the forum. Any idea?

Which buttons? In which parts of the forum? Did you set the 'link settings' in the acp? This controls whether or not the buttons and links appear in various parts of the forum.

Pretty much the only sign I see of the integration is in the ACP. I managed to enable the module, did the link settings and I even managed to synchronized the users. I see no sign of Gallery2 within the forum, no gallery buttons anywhere in the forum.

You don't see the gallery2 link on the forum index? Did you do the style mods for prosilver and/or subsilver2?

Nope...no gallery2 link. And yes, I did the style mods. At first, I only did it to subsilver2 since I was just going to stick with that look. Once I found out the button refuse to show up. I did the mod to prosilver as well. I tried switching from one to the other and none of them show the buttons.

Do you have any suggestion? Should I redo the integration from RC7 or 8?

Do you have a link you can post or pm me? The mods to overall_header.html should at least make a text link on every forum page!

Hi,

I had a similar problem to the one you describe, while the subsilver2 theme worked, the prosilver theme didn't show the link to gallery2 and by manually visiting the gallery2 page the override css file wasn't being loaded so it displayed all wrong. After I spent ages investigating it I found that it could be fixed by removing the contents of the phpbb3/cache directory. this meant that all the files were regenerated from scratch using the mods and it all works correctly (as far as I can tell) now. Smile

Give it a try and let us know if it works.

That's a good call. I didn't even think of it, even though I delete the cache constantly when working with the template mods.

I'm trying to install the integration with Gold. Don't know if I did something wrong or missed something, but I'm getting the following error..
