When I add new items to my album, GD resizes my images into certain sizes.

Where can I change the width and height for thumbnails GD creates which is displayed in my block.

in the root album of your gallery 2 installation, click "edit album" and then the "album" tab. there is a list of sizes that you can enter there. check the "Use these target sizes in all subalbums" so that all albums use those sizes, and then check the box to apply the new settings to your existing albums.
