Using built in rewrite module for phpnuke 7.6

I seem to have this working just fine except for this!

It keeps trying to rewrite the actual nuke theme files. For instance.

Any idea's?

try using the g2 rewrite module, just place the .htaccess code it generates into your phpnuke's .htaccess file.

I tried that dari and it works well but it is also rewriting my theme images. Can't figure out how to correct that.
