Alright,
I spent hours last night (about 120 minutes) performing file changes for this integration. It appears to be working after removing a few blank lines at the end of some php files. So what now, I can get to the gallery and see a picture I put up before the integration and that seems to be all I can do. What I was hoping for (and yes, I need to read more) is that users can create their own albums within the gallery and add pictures. Here is the checklist of what I would like, can Gallery2 do this integrated with phpbb?
1. Users add their own albums and upload photos.
2. Automatic resizing of images to 800X600 or some other size I pick.
Can it do these two items? I will be patient of course but any help would be greatly appreciated.

Alright,
It seems I have most everything working except one question unanswered, is there a way to force people to 800X600 or some size image. Will the gallery2 software re-size larger images automatically before storing or not?

This forum is the home of the phpBB3/Gallery2 integration, your question is a G2-question. I think you will get faster and probably better answers if you ask Gallery questions at Gallery forum, phpBB questions at phpBB forum.
Gallery2 has a lot of plugins, maybe have a look at "size limit"?
Module "User Albums": Create an album for each new user.
