I just installed PHP-Nuke 7.8 on Linux server with PHP 4.3.10 and added Gallery 1.5.2-pl2 into a module. My problem is that the gallery displays properly when you type in the exact URL:

www.troop671.com/gsforum/modules/gallery/index.php

But shows a completely blank screen when you enter:

www.troop671.com/gsforum/modules.php?name=gallery

Question

I have set and read until my arse hurts and I can't find the solution.

It's probably simple and I'm just too tired to figure it out.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I have confugured it and can post photos and edit albums. Admin works great. It just won't display as a module. Am I missing something?

Yes, I navigated to the Modules admin section and it is activated and shows up in the Modules links on the left of the web site. Sad

when you ran the gallery config, did it properly detect your full URL to your gallery?

I don't think so. I had to tinker with it a while to get the program set up.

visiting your gallery shows that it's still in configuration mode. you need to run the gallery config wizard and make sure that everything is saved before it will work.

I couldn't run the secure script from the shell (or I didn't do it right) so I manually changed permissions to the following:

setup 000
.htaccess 644
config.php 644

It still doesn't show up in PHP Nuke.

Did I do it wrong Question

Thanks for all your help Exclamation

Very nice. Upgrade to 1.5.3 worked. Gallery shows as it should.

There is one problem. Even though I'm logged in, when I visit the gallery page it shows that I'm logged out and I can't log in to edit my album. The test album was made when I logged into the admin account by typing the full URL, not through Nuke.

Any ideas Question

rerun the gallery config, and set the disable register globals check to "yes"

Done!

There is still no link to create album from gallery page when logged into Nuke. Is there supposed to be or does the user have to log into the gallery admin outside of Nuke Question
