Hi,
I have integrated Gallery2 with phpnuke 7.6 and it works great but i have been trying to create a nuke block on the r/hand side of my homepage to display a random image from the gallery. Can anyone give me a suggestion as to where to start. I have tried creating a block in the adminstration section of my nuke site and inputting the data suggested in Gallery2,Blocks ,Image block

(<?php @readfile('http://xxxxxxxxxx/modules/gallery2/main.php?g2_view=imageblock.External&g2_blocks=randomImage&g2_show=title'); ?>

but it always come up empty.

Am i missing something obvious ?

Thanks in advance

Why not just use the g2 image block that comes with the integration package?

When i first installed i tried the supplied blocks and all it showed was the gallery2 menu randomly thrown onto the right hand side. It wasn't placed inside a block at all.

I have just reinstated it ( after doing a HTTPD restart and now the block gets presented correctly but it displays the following text:- "The Gallery2 sidebar is enabled.
You should disable it before using this block."

Even though the sidebar block is disabled

Any Ideas ?

I found the tick box in the configuration screen was ticked for the sidebar, which was causing my problem. I now have a random image showing in the r/hand side of my homepage but it doesn't fit into the block. I need the photo to auto resize to fit the block.

Anyone know if this is possible ?

use the "maxsize" variable in the block to change it...it hasn't been released yet, but you can get the latest one here:
http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/* ... eBlock.php
