I am using the G2 Block in my phpNuke install with pretty good success. However, I would like to modify it (maybe via the Admin tools?) but can't seem to find the options.

Right now all it has is:
-------------------------
Actions
* view slideshow
* view slideshow (fullscreen)

Members
* 6 members
* Members List
-------------------------

I already removed the search field because it was too long (if I could find where the length is specificed I could edit that instead).

But, why are there no options fo "Add Items"? I swear I saw that in there before I had to reinstall G2 but now it's gone.

Where in the admin tool area are these options kept? Anyone have a really good "sidebar.tpl" file that I could use? Maybe one that has a ton of options that I could pick and choose form to disable/enable the options?

Thanks,
Spencer

are you sure you're logged in as admin on your nuke site? otherwise, you won't see the "add items" and other such options.

also, a URL would be helpful.

also, are you using the G2 sidebar block that came with the integration pack, or the stock G2 sidebar?

I *think* I am using the stock sidebar. The integration pack that I DL'd didn't look like it came with any templates that i know of.

In addition, I am logged in as Admin. Why would only the Admin get to Add Items? How do others add items to their albums? (remember, I am used to G1, not G2 so the setup is a bit new)

same here Smile

i think that the sidebar stuff is permission based. you can create new groups in G2 and give them differing permissions.

to test, i have the sidebar active now on the G2 here. what options do you see under "actions"?

ok, so i created a test user, and there is no "actions" box available to me. when you viewed the main page of your gallery, did it say "Welcome <your name>, Site Admin"?

Yes, I do indeed see " Welcome, Gallery Administrator Site Admin" Where Site Admin is jsut the link to the admin pages.

So essentially users and groups have to be within the gallery before they can take actions to a particular album? So then is there really any need for the sidebar at all?

What is everyone else doing with regards to the side bar?
