Can't send notification email

i've searched for this but was unable to find it..

emails are send perfectly, during password recovery registration, users emailing through the forums, everything. only when a topic is being tracked (so they receive notifications once a new post is made) it screwes.. if a user posts in a topic which is tracked he receives this error message:

i checked the file and the position on the error is @ the cc/bcc loop.

please help me.

email settings:
Use SMTP Server for email [No]
(i've specified my smtp server in php.ini)

it might be due to the fact that too many people are on the CC and/or BCC line. some mail servers reject inbound mail with large numbers of addresses in those fields.

i've made a topic with 1 account (so 1 email) and checked 'notify me'
and with another i posted, so there's only 1 email adress to send to..
