I would like to implement a new Counter in PHPnuke, bacause the counter that is included is totally uselesss.

Does anyone know a good addon or good method to do this?

Depends. What are you looking for in a counter?

Also remember that your opinion of the counter is just that, an opinion. It's also the hard work of the author. I would ask that you remember that. I use the counting system within PHPNUke every day and do not have an issue with it.

If it's anything like the other opinions I've heard in the past about the counter, the issue is that it only counts page views and not something like individual visits or visitors.

then s/he should grab the MS_Analysis module, as it counts uniques, as well, I believe.

Uniques don't really matter much, esp. with IP addresses assigned by DHCP, and corporate users behind firewalls (like myself) so any number of users from that company show up as just one IP address.
