Have you ever seen a hack to gallery so that you can vote on the pictures. Like a 1 to 10 sort of scale. And if it does exist would it be possible to make a modification to the random picture block so that you can vote on a picture that comes up. Sort of like a mini Hot or Not section only in block format.

i have seen voting mods for gallery, though i've never used one, nor do i know how to integrate it into the random block. i'd check the gallery forums for links to the various mods. if you find one you like, let me know and i'll see what i can do.

Interesting idea. I have downloaded the phpPoll software suggested in the main forum, but haven't gotten a chance to install it. I am not in multi-step install mode right now. Aren't polls/voting planned for 1.3.6? They were for 1.3.5 but got bumped by languages.
