font sizes

First, the default font size is rather small. 90% of my viewers said can't read well. Suggest to increase the default font size.

I went into theme.tpl and change font size to 80%. Then in left menu area I inserted the "item action". and now the drop down box is not completely displayed in that area. Right end with the click button of the dropdown box is outside of the border.

couldn't find the place to adjust the menu size to make dropdown box fit.
