I have PHPBB3 installed as well as Gallery 2 on my server and i am getting an Error 500 message when i try to access the plugins on gallery2. Everything else works fine, just trying to access the plugins gives me that error. I have had a search about, and I too am on 1and1 hosting (UK) and there seems to be an issue with them and WPG(?). Everything worked fine before the integration, as i was able to uninstall a few plugins that were not needed.
If i delete Gallery2 and reinstall it on the server, will i have to do the integration again? What will be affected and what will i need to do to get these working again?
I am new at these sort of things and ive only every done html in the past. Im not short on understanding though Wink .

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The integration should not have affected anything to do with gallery plugins. The only mods to gallery are in the gallery2.xml file (which adds the nukedgallery icon to the gallery pages) and the gallery lightbox mods in gallery2-lightbox.xml (which adds the lightbox effect to the gallery images). You might remove those if you installed them and see if the problem is still there.

You can also check your server logs to see what is triggering the error.

If you re-install gallery, the only thing you have to do for the integration is re-run the configuration and user export parts again.

Ive tried this twice now, with a fresh install of phpbb too. PITA. Plugins works fine, until I integrate, then it all comes up with a server 500 error. I give up.
