Ok, I am really disappointed with what Im having to deal with. I really want to use G1.5.6 instead of G2.

My problem and complaint, is that when I install G1, everything was great. Now when I attempted to upload photos to the Gallery. I get that error that is sooooo common on this Verison of G1. That error is "Error: Unable to make thumbnail (0)" and Yes, Yes I know about exec having to be ENABLED on the host server to be able to upload images to the Gallery.

BUT....

When I installed G2 and I got the ServerCheck part of the config wiz. It says that exec is allowed. Sooo.... I decided to finish the install and then attempt to upload some photos to Gallery2. Well, What do you know??? It works. I can upload photos in G2.

Now...

My question is, Why does this have to happen? lol

Can somebody Please contact the Developer on fixing the G1 version to bypass/allow exec like it does in G2?? I mean jeez, G1 is to much of a headache and the requirements to run G1 are completely asinine. OR... can they come up with some kind of a work around with this stupid exec bs.

Please Help/Respond. It would be greatly appreciated. I also posted this at http://gallery.menalto.com

Thanks,

Myst
