Random Block problem

For some reason the block shows if i set it to any position on auto, but has no pictures in it.

If i set it to random then i get nothing at all. Block dont show.

Its like its not finding my gallery!!

I have check the path about 5 times which i got from the configuration information, that the gallery works fine from.

It just dont seem to want to know.

Any help is much appreciated

Gallery version: 1.5.6
Apache version: PHP v4.3.10 - Not sure version of apache
Graphics Toolkit: Imagemagic + netPBM
Operating system: Web server is Unix/Linux based

what's the config block at the top of your file look like?
