Permissions cannot be changed

I have gallery integrated into my nuke setup and works fine, but i just noticed that in sub albums my members get full permission to do modify title, edit description etc just like the owner of the album does, i go to the root folder to change permissions and even though i am selecting nobody on the left menu and then clicking the arrow to place that username in the modify field on the right nothing happens, the screen refreshes but thats it ????

disable the set globals check in the gallery config wizard.
