If you wrap the block code in

bbtags, it should allow you to enter anything.
I didn't get anything in my mail box, maybe my Sympatico mail server is having problems. Thanks, I'll check it again later. |

On a note with this block that gas has done up. I got the code from him, and found it VERY easy to modify it and wrap it around a dhtml/javascript content "slider". Now I have 4 images; random, newest album, most viewed photo, and most viewed album (once the most viewed album works right) and the javascript changes the image every 3 seconds like a slide show. Pretty cool- and it helps make my site look a little smoother since I already have 2 scrolling blocks and adding another would be overkill.
This block should be included in the integration package I think, and the code is so easy to change that I think anyone should be able to tweak it the way that they like. I'd be happy to help tweak (wrap) the code around a content fader or slider or anything for people.
Even a flash mod. would be neat! |

I threw together something really quick. I can't find a better way to find the URL...so sometimes it will work, sometimes it won't, but the thumbnail should always work...
http://www.joshuadhall.com/modules.php? ... it&lid=140
They're really a hack job, I know they're not what dari was intending, but they work for the mean time.

how can you make the block scroll to the left, i changed the code to left but it stacks the images on top of each other and it's a big mess
and to fix the bug of the URL, it should be like this
$thumb=$g_id+0;
$url=$g_id-0;
btw gas you have an error on your site, when i try to register it doesnt let me |

So have we progressed at all with any scrolling code? I tried Nomad76's code and while it did scroll nicely the block seemed to just lose it's left hand border?!? Who knows why that is!
Gas, any chance I could get a copy of your code to try please?
Cheers, Paul K |
