I have tried several months and downloaded this file from several sites trying to get the random picture block to work on my site. I had given up and first went with a random pic block that I put pictures in a seperate file for it to choose from, then I redid the new amazon scrolling block to work from this same seperate file. With both of these I just set a link to my gallery and not to the particular album or picture like in random block.
Since I have over 500 pictures in my albums it was taking up a lot of extra space and I had to keep switching thumbnails around.
After reading through all your instructions and help you have given in the forums I finally got it to work today on my site.
Thanks for all your help, its people like you that make PHPNuke one of the best content management systems around!

thanks for the praise i'm glad to hear that the stuff we churn out here is useful to more people than just ourselves.
btw, where did you get that "Menu and Visitors" block on the left part of your site? I've been looking for something similar for this place.
